Getting out of debt

I was recently trying to find a news article on the escalating debt levels of US citizens. Believe it or not, I spent a couple hours on it and didn't find bubkis, really. So I was glad to see it get some play at the Christian Science Monitor. The article, King Kong debt meets middle-class life has some good information and amazing tables.

The scary part is Kristi and I have to use a multiplier to the current average to get to the level of debt we carry every day.
